Julien has been playing volleyball since he was 13 years old. During his club years, his teams consistently finished in the top three in the province. In high school, he was a part of the Team Ontario Indoor Team for 1 year and the Team Ontario Beach team for 3 years. He was then recruited to play for the Windsor Lancers men’s volleyball team, where he played as a middle for the past five years. In 2023, the Lancers team achieved a historic milestone by finishing 2nd in the OUA for the first time in the program's history. In the same year, Julien was a member of the Beach Next-Gen Summer Team, where he had the opportunity to train with some of the best beach volleyball athletes in Canada. Julien regularly plays in various beach tournaments across Canada. We are very lucky to have him dedicate some of his time to the Ignite team!
