Katie started her playing career at a summer volleyball camp after getting cut from her middle school team in grade seven. She continued to play throughout her high school and club career, winning several OVA medals and OFSAA berths, under head coach Garry Kollins. She was a member of the Western Mustangs women’s volleyball team for four years; during that time she helped the team win four consecutive OUA medals, including an appearance at USports Volleyball Nationals in 2017. This is Katie’s first year coaching, and she is very excited to beginning her coaching career giving back to the sport she loves so much.
